In My Own Words

Alexandra Thomas, Class of 2015

"When I was looking for a high school, I wanted an environment that would challenge me – giving me the opportunity to be successful both academically and athletically.  That's why I chose St. E. “Rigorous” would be a good way to describe the academic program here; it’s intense. And the athletics program is exceptional.

It’s clear to me that one of the things that drew me to the school was the bond between students, faculty, and alumni. That sense of connection is evident in so many ways every day at St. E.  It’s made St. Elizabeth something so much more to me than just a school.  It has become my home away from home.

St. E has given me the chance to do things I never thought I'd accomplish in high school – including becoming Vice President of National Honor Society and Captain of the Girls’ Basketball Team. This school has also challenged me to become more involved spiritually as a Eucharistic Minister. St. E has enabled me to grow as a student and given me confidence that I can succeed.  I am so grateful for my new family!"
