"Before starting my first year at St. Elizabeth, I couldn’t imagine the opportunities that I’d encounter there. After my first few weeks of classes and attending activities, I realized I could accomplish more than I thought possible…even as a freshman! I saw right away that this was a place where I could easily create, learn, and explore. One of the first groups I joined was Tech Club, where I made friends right away and was exposed to new opportunities to work closely with technology – opportunities that I would not have had at larger schools. I also participated in Chess Club and Math League, which gave me a taste of what competing in academic activities was like. I eventually decided that I wanted to start my own Animation Club. With the help of a few other interested students, together with the great interest in technology ingrained at St. Elizabeth, I was able to make my idea a reality. Now there’s a club at St. E open to any student wanting to learn how to use computer animation software. When I made the decision to attend St. Elizabeth, I knew I would be able to do things other schools couldn't offer, but I didn't know that this environment would inspire me to go out and try so many things that I never had the opportunity to try before. St. E has given me so many opportunities in just my first year …more than some schools could have given me over the course of my entire high school career."
