The virtual visit you are about to take will reveal the essence of our identity here at SEHS. In existence since 1940 and steeped in the tradition of St. Benedict, the word ‘hospitality’ is for us a quality exemplified every day through the routine actions and interactions of our students and faculty. It is at the core of our values with service, spirituality, and 21st century skills as our focus.
We offer a rigorous college preparatory curriculum with over 70 courses, a visual and performing arts program that fosters creative discovery, and 36 athletic teams and over 30 co-curricular activities and clubs. Students are encouraged to be conscious of their relationship to the world community and sensitive to the needs of others and to involve themselves in works of peace and justice.
Since our founding by Monsignor James M. Grant, St. Elizabeth High School has been a visible presence in the City of Wilmington. We are proud to have provided a quality Catholic education to over 6,000 graduates. Now in our eighth decade, our commitment to excellence remains as strong as ever with myriad opportunities designed to develop our students into young men and women well-equipped to take their place as faith-filled, responsible citizens in the global society of the 21st century.
We are proud to offer our students a safe environment in which to explore, to excel, to pursue their dreams. Start the video…see for yourself!
