Tuition Schedule

2017-2018 Academic Year

1. TUITION PAYMENT PLAN:

Tuition for the 2017-2018 School Year is $11,700.

REGISTRATION AND RE-ENROLLMENT:

All families must enroll with SmartTuition at enrollwithsmart.com.  Smart Tuition manages the collection of St. E tuition payments. Smart tuition is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week: (888) 868-8828 or parents@smarttuition.com.

12 MONTHLY PAYMENTS beginning June 2017 for 12 months.  Monthly payments must be made via automatic deduction from your bank account (checking or savings). Available payment dates are the 1st , 10th , or 20th of the month.

PAYMENT IN FULL on or before June 20, 2017. This Plan includes a $300 discount for payment in full.  No discount for late payments.

TWO PAYMENTS 50% of tuition and fees due on June 1, 2017 & amp; November 1, 2017. This Plan includes a $100 discount. No discount for late payments.

2. FRESHMAN REGISTRATION FEE:

A non-refundable registration fee of $400 is due with student registration upon receiving notification of acceptance to St. Elizabeth High School. There will be a $100 discount if registered by February 15, 2017.  This fee is not included in the tuition cost.

3. FEES:

4. REQUIREMENTS FOR EARLY WITHDRAWAL:

A parent who wishes to withdraw a student after they have signed the tuition contract at St. Elizabeth must contact the Academic Dean at (302)656-3369 ext. 3033, to request a Withdrawal Form. The date the Withdrawal Form is received by the Academic Dean will dictate the refund due:

The above tuition requirements will apply for a withdrawal or a dismissal of a student for any circumstances. Parents who have not paid the full amount due as of the applicable termination date remain responsible for the balance due.

5. NON-SUFFICIENT FUND PAYMENTS:

A fee of $30 is assessed on all insufficient funds, returned tuition payments or stop payments either by check or automatic deduction. Smart Tuition also assesses a monthly $40 fee for all late payments.  Payments are considered late if they are not paid by the date selected by the parent on the contract.

6. DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS:

Students of parents with delinquent accounts may NOT

a.

 

receive a report card or transcripts and will not have online access to grades,

b.

 

student(s) will not be able to take part in extra-curricular activities such as but not limited to prom, class trips, or other events which are not strictly part of the academic program

c.

 

participate on any school sponsored athletic team

 

 

 

St. Elizabeth High School reserves the right to deny re-admission for the following school year if a financial loss to the school has been caused by breach of tuition contract. St. Elizabeth High School reserves the right to withhold transcripts and other student records, including diplomas, if tuition and fees are not paid when due.

8. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:

St. Elizabeth High School uses SSS (School and Student Service for Financial Aid) for the financial assistance process. To be considered for tuition financial assistance, parents must file a PFS (parent financial statement) and submit W-2 and tax forms directly to SSS. The PFS forms should be completed online at https://sssbynais.force.com/familyportal/familyloginApplicants must reapply for financial assistance each year. Each student receiving financial assistance must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.00 and demonstrate a record of good conduct. Tuition payments will be adjusted by the amount of financial assistance awarded. Financial assistance is not offered for iPad, books, uniforms or fees.

9. ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS:

Academic scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen who achieve the highest national percentile composite scores on the December placement test, receive exemplary recommendations from an administrator of their feeder school, and achieve high scores on standardized tests from their middle school. Each student awarded an academic scholarship must:

  • obtain honors each quarter (minimum GPA of 3.40) and become eligible for the National Honor Society in junior year
  • maintain good attendance and disciplinary records 
  • enroll in advanced placement courses when they are available to the student 
  • participate in at least two school clubs/teams 

 

Students who fail to fulfill these requirements may be issued a warning. They may have to subsequently forfeit their scholarship. Tuition payments will be adjusted by the amount of scholarship received.

 

10. STUDENT ACCIDENT INSURANCE:

St. Elizabeth High School has a supplemental insurance policy to assist (after deductible) with an injury that occurs at school, or at a school-sponsored activity or athletic event. Claim forms are available from the school infirmary or School Trainer.
